Australia - the board rolled over like puppies. It was always going to happen. The players had fair and reasonable demands and were treated like scum throughout the entire episode, which is basically how cricket has been run in Australia for well over 100 years now. Stuffy, miserable men in suits who think they know everything and represent the majority when in actual fact they know very little about how the general everyday public. Ivory Towers and all that. Even Bradman, who is revered all of the cricket world, was a bastard of an administrator. He simply could not fathom how if he was able to have a high paying job and have cricket on the side earning him peanuts, why every other cricketer was not able to do the same. He honestly believed that his 'job' in stockbroking in Adelaide had absolutely nothing to do with his fame as a cricketer, and the time off to play and tour etc. was something every cricketer could simply ask for and receive.
