The Scream TV series. I spent countless hours dissecting the whodunnit aspects with others, only for them to retcon the killer in season 2, practically by pulling a name out of a hat (they were going back and forth on who it was all the way up until the season finale premiered). If anything should be set in stone from the beginning, it's the who in a whodunnit. It's like being given pieces of a puzzle, getting all the way to the end putting the whole thing together, only to find the last piece doesn't fit and you've wasted your time. I never got to see the movie at all. |
