Agreed. I've been saying for a long time that WW won't WIN the Best Picture Oscar because the Academy probably isn't ready yet to award Best Picture to a comic-book movie. But WW does have a good chance of being nominated for a Best Picture Oscar because:

1. After The Dark Knight was snubbed for a Best Picture nomination in the 2008 award year, the Academy increased the maximum number of nominations for Best Picture from 5 to 10 starting with the 2009 award year. If it were still only 5 nominations, then WW would have no chance of a Best Picture Oscar nomination. But with a maximum of 10 nominations, WW has a good chance for a Best Picture Oscar nomination.

2. The Academy nominated 10 movies for Best Picture in the 2009 and 2010 award years but has only nominated 8 or 9 movies for Best Picture in every year since then. So the Academy nominates only 8 or 9 movies this year, then they still have an open slot to nominate WW without having to remove another worthy nominee.
