OT: Trump is going to talk his way out of the white house

I was pretty fascinated with this election. I would tell people, it's ok with me that you're a Republican, it's ok with me if you don't care for Hillary, but how in your right mind can you vote specifically for Trump? Any of the other Republican candidates, I wouldn't have liked them probably, but it wouldn't have been such a profound embarrassment. I'm a democrat, but the year that McCain ran, I would have voted for him if it wasn't for Palin. I just don't see why people couldn't just look beyond the party labels. Trump is as much of a Republican as my cat. He would have run under any party just to get elected.
