Hey Poelzig, I was a boy scout too and have a similar story although not as elaborate. I remember working on my wilderness survival badge and I was the only kid that didn't get a partner so I had to camp out in a homemade tent made out of vines and branches. All through the night I kept hearing twigs snapping as if someone or something was walking around in the woods. I was petrified for hours when I finally dozed off for what seemed like only 5 minutes. When I woke up, I was outside the shelter exposed to the elements. I had camped many times before and I had never had that happen or had any history of sleep walking. The counselor joked about it and said I shouldn't get the badge since I technically didn't sleep in the shelter. Poelzig, was the camp site by any chance named Bear Creek? Another freaky thing that happened to me just yesterday ... my doorbell rings and I hear someone jiggling the door handle as if they are trying to get in. I assume it's my mother since she is the only one that would do that, but when I answer my door I find two small kids standing there no older than 10 yrs old. They looked like the kids from Village of the Damned with their long golden locks and green-yellowish eyes. They asked if I wanted to buy a used speaker which looked like a toy and an Xbox game. I told them no so they walk off and around the bend. I then go outside to see where they went and they were gone. They just vanished in broad daylight. Freaky! Bear Creek? Oh shit!!!!! Just kidding. It was Bert Adams Boy Scout Camp.
