76ers have just 3 NBA titles. That's not a bad record and in fact above average but why does it appear as if 76ers are more special than most other clubs? There is always an air that 76ers are as legendary as Lakers and Celtics but those two have so many NBA titles. I am not an American so may not be aware of some cultural significance related to 76ers.
