a flicker of light
from a cyber space
in a room with a view
concealed.
i waited one night
in the meeting place,
waited
for a heart
revealed.




so many times
i stumbled on
the words
that
would make us one.
to many lines
i left undone
like a father
who
lost his son.




maximize,
and the light ascends.
minimize,
and the darkness wins.




can we even show
the depths of love
to which our hearts aspire?
from a screen
i saw
you sitting there,
from a screen
you fuel desire.

rushing through my veins,

all i see,

all we’ll ever be?
