Fair enough. It's is your personal view just like mine. I always had a feeling that 76ers always exudes a lot more buzz than most other teams even when it is doing not so well on court. I also see 76ers fans as having lot more attachment to their team than average fans of other teams have attachment to their teams. I am a Rockets fan by the way. @screamingtreefrogs It seems that people like Wilt and Iverson (later has cult status I guess) have made it such a popular team. And of course the great teams they had at different point of time in their history. I think it comes from being such a passionate sports town. Sports craved and we haven't had our teams do so well. People were in a frenzy when the Sixers went to the Finals in 2001. It really is a giant basketball town. College hoops is huge around here too - 'Nova, Temple, Penn, LaSalle, St. Joes - hell throw Drexel and Delaware in there too. Flyers - out of the 4 major sports here - it's the biggest 'cult' out there IMO - I mean they can do no wrong according to the fanbase - surprised there aren't any other Orange and Black fans here. Haven't won a Cup since '75 and the old school cultish fans still bow at the alter of Bobby Clarke, Ed Snider and The Broadstreet Bullies.
