He's incompetent but probably untouchable because of his discrimination lawsuit. It's pretty bad when my wife recognizes Angel Hernandez as a bad umpire. I always hear the song and dance that all umpires/referees/officials in all sports are monitored for performance. How many times have you heard of one getting fired or not employed? Only one I can think of is Euro football ref Graham Poll, he of the three yellow cards in the 2006 WC. And he quit. We all know of chumps who have no business doing their job. Yet they still do it.
