Regarding the first point much like Fargo with the Midwest I saw it as a deconstruction of Southern tropes and sensibilities as well. I assumed Swank was going to continue to also carry on with her investigation clandestinely. yeah but not everyone in Fargo was an idiot. Here on the other hand… Well but the townsfolk were naive. |
