Earth can't do any wobbling based on wishes of people who want to catch attention of others by creating false stories.

But it can do wobbling based on the introduction of a massive foreign object in the solar system.

I guess the massive foreign object must have temporarily gone away, allowing the eclipse to occur as forecast by astronomers years and years ago.
