Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be a standalone adventure not linked to other Marvel filmsJust like what Matt Reeves said about The Batman movie. But MCU fans are too dumb to understand that what Reeves is saying is his Batman movie wont be a shitty movie like Spider-Man: Homecoming, where Tony Stark is in the beginning, middle, and end of the movie, Iron Man rescues Spider-Man when Vulture dumps him in the water, Iron Man comes to the rescue on the ferry boat, Spider-Man uses AI-type suits given to him by Tony Stark rather than using his Spider-Sense, and Spider-Man basically becomes a supporting character in his own movie. Instead, the Batman movie will be more like Wonder Woman, a stand-alone movie that doesn't have to rely on cameos from characters in other movies but is still a part of the DCEU. A thread about GOTG2, followed by a tirade that doesn't even mention GOTG2! And I suggest (as has been suggested many times before in other threads) that you go back a read the contents of your link. At no point does it say it is NOT part of the MCU...director says "...there will be no infinity stones in Vol. 2." and “There will be infinity nothing. It’s a story about the Guardians, and isn’t meant to lead to anything else.” You seem to be having difficulty understanding what a supporting character is Like Suicide Squad had to.
