He's probably referring to the scene where WW strips down to her bare essentials to do battle with the Germans. A scantly clad woman in a mini skirt and high heels, racing across no mans land, is what WW fans think is an "accurate depiction of war". hey, cupcake. Who ever claimed WW was an "accurate depiction of war"...? Quote and link please, or it's a lie! No dramatic movie can ever accurately depict war! Accurate compared to what is the question.
WW is of course accurate compared to, say Cap1, with it's laser gun battles in WW2 or Mr Tomato-Head or Hail-Hydra seeking laser gun artefacts from Odin (lol!). In this regard WW depicts the horrors of war accurately by showing entire villages wiped out and the death of protagonists.
Compared to films like Shoa or even Dunkirk WW of course is just a silly CBM. Btw, that's the reason why she is dressed like that, because she looks like this in the source material, my little dullard.
