It's not good, I agree. It hits the barest minimum of effort to be above anything truly terrible like Catwoman for instance. If 5 is just an ok film, this is probably a 4.
For comparison, MOS had a better overall script and production, but it also had more terrible moments, so I'd give them both a 4, and I've still never seen BVS and don't plan to. Nothing in the DCU so far has convinced me to bother watching any more of it. WW was fine. I'd give it a 7 probably, which would be ok if the rest were 8's or better, but it's not special enough to salvage anything they've done or get me into JL.
