despite the Oscar this movie seems like the epitome of trash filmmaking. Mindless junk food produced and served for juvenilles hitting full scale puberty and who just have grown out of raccoon turd and dance off movies. The trash factor is constituted by elements such as the relentless use of generic pop songs as score, the hideous CL filters and lightening (mostly green-ish, mud and neon) or the video clip editing and cutting. All a pity as this had great storytelling potential - it has a band of anti-hero protagonists, two main black protagonists and the first female antagonist, and some interesting concept characters. 4/10
I actually agree on all counts except there is no comparison to Guardians of the Galaxy at all. The dance off scene is actually quite appropriate in many ways and if you're still stuck not getting it, I'll explain it for you.
