...Really? Peter Quill got angry over one of his mother's most precious gifts to him getting smashed right in front of him. You know, that thing he's held onto and figured out how to repair and maintain despite being innumerable light years from Earth? That thing that helps him keep his memory of his mother alive via their shared love of old songs? His anger over Ego heartless breaking that in front of him made the film go down in your eyes? Seriously? No I get that it was a gift, but I felt it was an unnecessary line because the murder of his mother should have been enough, but that's just me. You've obviously never had a precious gift from a new deceased beloved relative cruelly destroyed in front of your eyes. I have. Believe me, it is not something you gloss over when you call out the person who did it.
