Actually ghost lore has many recent spirits. Amityville is one famous example. Though--if I may speak as someone who grew up not thirty minutes away from Amityville--that has been nigh-completely debunked. I wasn't vouching for the veracity of it. It's just a famous example of recent ghosts (even if the whole story wasn't about recent ghosts). I love the fantasy of ghosts (and lots of other paranormal stuff), and I'd love to believe that stuff, but I don't actually believe any of it. But I read tons of supposedly true ghost stuff, visit sights, etc. and there are supposed to be a lot of recent ghosts. |
