And I've already multiple-times directly told you why I'm not going to list what any sound-minded competent person would already know or if a they were a tiny bit sincere could easily find out, as I'm not going to dox, or make threats, give razorblade toys to toddlers, arrange drug sales, try to by uranium, human traffic or whatever that may be against the ToS. I certainly wouldn't discuss such explicit instructions directly with the mentally ill in any case.
And they shouldn't be expected to pay the price of everyone else's joy. Especially if nobody would be deprived of that joy in a universe with no sentient life.[/quote]That would be everybody who has ever died of hanging, then. Aaron Swartz seemed like an intelligent guy, and his reason for suicide was rational. And yet he died from hanging, and not from this method of suicide that is perfectly painless and which has never been known to fail in all of recorded history. No need to die from hanging if there is a method out there that is at once easily accessible, painless and has had no known failures in all of recorded history.
f you were arguing sanely and honestly, one of the things you wouldn't insipidly keep going back to is how horrible things are in Indonesia or 19th and earlier 20th century America, or in a supervillain's death camp or in any other place or time where the mentally ill were patently abused as an excuse for you getting them wiped out in your desire to end all sentient life. The only thing I'm "deciding" is that with deranged homicidal maniacs about clamoring for their deaths for a cause, and with it being incredibly difficult for even the good of intention to separate the intentions and abilities of the shattered of mind from the effects of disease itself, that it would be an incredible net harm to institutionalize such suicide programs. I realize not for you, but then of course you pine for death for all among other pathological things.
It is absolutely relevant to point to the collateral damage which continues to be caused by the perpetuation of the human race. Indonesia happens to be one of the most appalling examples to illustrate this; but a tortured existence will also await Europeans and North Americans born into middle class families; and there is no fairness mechanisms to ensure that everyone gets only their fair share of suffering (if there can be such a thing as fair suffering), and nobody's suffering is the price that needs to be paid for another person's pleasure. And the desire to die stemming from severe mental illness is an eminently rational reason for wanting to die. What you're saying is that we can only allow people to die if there is nothing that is putting them in the mindset wherein they wish to die. Which is an absurd Catch-22.
