I don't know what's going on in an ant's noggin'. I know what's going on inside of mine. I know some of what's going on in yours.
The only meaningful free will is one that takes into account and is inseparable from our desires. What we got.
And they shouldn't be expected to pay the price of everyone else's joy. Especially if nobody would be deprived of that joy in a universe with no sentient life.
