I am not sure about humans but I would say at least 70 percent of Gen Y males I have met online in the past decade especially comic book fans are sexist, homophobic and racist pigs and I would go as far to say Gen Y males are far worse than the guys I grew up with. 
In my experience there are just as many assholes among women as men.
