No idea whether Bayer 04 got their striker. Clearly the paperwork isn't done, as the Argentinian FA haven't submitted their part. Bayer 04 say it doesn't matter, as they paid the exit clause and the player is a free agent. It's not clear that it really works like that, because Bundesliga statutes say that the player must have been a free agent by July 1st. Not to mention River Plate maintains the whole deal is illegal because of the unauthorized medical. We'll see in the next days.
