In Suicide Squad when Waller (for no real reason but let's run with it) kills a bunch of agents because they were working with her without proper clearance, Deadshot says something very close to "And you thought we were the bad guys" to convince you that she's worse than he is so that you'll like the squad members, buy their toys, etc. Now let's see here. This is a guy who kills people he's never met for money, with no questions asked, ruining the countless lives of the people who know the person he killed, and he's now claiming he is morally superior to Waller? He's an assassin. Plain and simple. There's a reason he was locked up in prison. So yeah, I don't see him having some moral high ground over Waller, other than the fact that he's played by Will Smith, and we're supposed to like Will Smith.
