Yes I did. But this is just a really specific aspect of him trying to claim moral superiority over Waller and that just doesn't ring true does it? As you know, I fucking hate Suicide Squad. They botched it big-time. From the sound of your review, you might even like it more than me and you hated it, but that's beside the point. I might be remembering it wrong, but after he said that didn't they kind of treat it as a joke? Almost like he was saying, "Welcome to the club" or something? Again, I haven't seen it since opening weekend over a year ago, so I could be wrong. I don't know what I'm doing defending SS anyway. Well in fairness you're not really defending it, we're just discussing his motivation. Basically he was selling up that Waller was a bitch, but it's just funny coming from a guy who literally kills people for a living without any concern. |
