Outside of the following i would say he's overrated...
1.The Color of Money (1986) - 8/10
2.The Aviator (2004) - 7.5-8/10
3.Casino (1995)
4.After Hours (1985) - 7-7.5/10
-.Gangs of New York (2002)
6.The Departed (2006) - 7/10
-.The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
but given he's directed seven movies amongst My Favorite Movies in general i can't really say he's all that overrated. but i definitely think his earlier movies (Taxi Driver etc) get way too much credit around IMDb.
p.s. but i think directors like Aronofsky/Fincher get too much credit on IMDb as those are a couple of names that come to mind as nothing Aronofsky did is anything special (The Wrestler is the only one i mildly like) and only one movie of Fincher is of any real worth (i.e. Panic Room) even though i like two of his movies (i.e. Panic Room/The Game).
