I mostly agree. I think he's a good voice to be had on this board, and I appreciate his Gonzoesque poetry. That said, I do think sometimes he will start many threads in one day, and that can raise legitimate concerns about spamming. I believe the old IMDb board had a mechanism to throttle some users, like imposing a time delay between successive posts. Perhaps the admins of this board could do something similar, like restricting how often a user can create new threads. Admin , what about that? I think that would be a more fair approach than totally eliminating a user's ability to start new threads. ~.75% of the last 750 threads he started were not poems, and of the remaining ~99.25%, very few have any replies at all. If he takes advantage of this thread, those who wish to read them can bookmark it and never miss a single verse. If he instead chooses to bury them in various other threads, his fans might miss many of them. Yeah, or his readers could simply go to his profile, click on 'view this member's recent posts' and see it all, whether buried in another thread or not.
