Kinda disappointed in turnout here migrating from IMdB

Many people were nice and made areas nice to be around. some were asstwats. the asstwats were enough to make people leave or post rarely.

So true. Some boards from the original IMDB I enjoyed because there was little to no trolling were the Books, R&B/Soul and Music General boards. Little scuffles here and there on the last board, but very minor compared to the rest. Too often I'd see people get called every nasty name in the book and run off from other boards because they dared to disagree with what the majority said. Not just silly third grade name calling, but downright malicious insults. I don't know how they managed to sleep at night.

A few days ago a friend of mine sent me a link to another site where one of the worst trolls we'd experienced was posting and their account was deleted in a matter of days. They thought they could get away with their bullying elsewhere and clearly they thought wrong. I'm sure they're slithering around on another site somewhere, but that was a nice bit of karma that bit them in the bum...
