I had the opposite reaction. Guardians 1 I found to be below average or just about passing, but Guardians Vol. 2 was greatly improved. The humor worked better, the characters were more developed, and the blend of corniness and heartfelt drama was executed much more effectively. Would give it a 7.5/10.
