The scientists are lying. The original article discusses it more in depth. You have to feed the computer two images, one known to be homosexual and one known to be heterosexual. It guesses which is which 81% of the time. A coin flip is 50%, so it's a little better and probably not as good as most humans. If you already know one has to be homosexual, then it could be as simple as choosing the one with the narrower jaw or bigger forehead. But that's practically worthless in the wild, like with cranium size and intelligence having .4 correlation. You would never get something anywhere close to definitive. Richard Simmons would be straight next to John Waters. We don't need that kind of help with obvious cases. Nancy boy detected!
