Yeah, nice try, but 'Blade Runner 2049' is being made by an independent studio named Alcon Entertainment.
And that's without mentioning that they were developing a sequel since 1999.

Case in point-they made Point Break and Bodhi becomes Latino.

Believe you me I wish I was wrong but 6 companies have a lot of reach when they control distribution.
Yeah, all they say is that Warner Brothers simply DISTRIBUTES Alcon's films, which explains why Villeneuve described the film as the most expensive R-rated independent film.
