The mini-series was surprisingly good, even when I knew how the aliens would look like (thanks to my DVD copy who put a big spoiler alert right there on the backside) still, I enjoyed it and gave it a 7/10 rating.
The Final Battle was also very good, the TV-series however was poor and not one I will likely to watch again, where as the Mini-series and The Final Battle is classic 80s sci-fi.
Never seen the remake/updated version, but if I come over a decent priced DVD copy, I might give it a chance.
