The reason I answer is Vivacious Lady, I think it was the first time James Stewart was pushed up to play a leading man too. If i remember correcttly it was a very funny movie in some parts.

'Vivacious Lady' does feel like the emergence of a new superstar. It's surprisingly intimate, the way it's filmed. It feels like the two leads were really in love (or at least he was lol).
