Yeah, it took away so much that the movie's only made $825 million and counting. That money is coming from superhero fans. I'm pretty sure that everyone involved is quite pleased with how it's turned out. The Transformer movies made like 3 Billion and are still regarded as trash. You can't use a money argument. Except Homecoming has done well critically in addition to doing well financially, positive word of the mouth has made it one of the biggest hits of the summer, whereas the divisive Pirates and Transformers underperformed financial expectations. |
