Better Call Saul is more than satisfactory in my eyes, and in some ways, even better than Breaking Bad. I enjoy the slower pace, and the character development is exquisite. And I much prefer the supporting characters in BCS to BB. I agree with every word, except for the last sentence. I'd rate the supporting characters about equal, or maybe give the edge to Breaking Bad, with supporting characters like Tuco (who was also in BCS, briefly, of course), Fring, Badger, Jane, and others. Of course, BB had more time to add those characters, Better Call Saul is still early in its run. (I hope.) It's also good to hear from someone who also likes the more relaxed pace of BCS. It was a tense issue on the IMDb boards.
