Movies with just one good scene?

I was watching NHK when the latest missile was launched from North Korea. They picked up on it about three minutes after the launch and warned people in selected provinces to take shelter. They then indicated when it had passed over Hokkaido and entered the ocean. The "real time" nature of this reminded me of the first scene in Damnation Ally (1977) in which a missile launch against the US is detected and the resulting retaliation follows. It was a chillingly superb scene, but the rest of the film is pretty poor.

I was wondering what other movies might have a single good scene, sort of like a "rose in the toilet bowl" so to speak.
