I don't understand what the connection is between living in a secular society and not having religious education at schools. How do you expect people to be open-minded about religion if they aren't taught anything about it?
If you are trying to suggest that banning religious education would be a good and 'secular' thing to do, I couldn't disagree more. I see no difference between this and banning Harry Potter books.
