Why should I PM someone else to explain your thread...just link me your previous thread if you can't be bothered. For me it's a struggle to exactly understand what you are trying to say...movies had tits in them when the public didn't want them (when was this) so why are there no films about the USA/Russia aliied and kicking ass! The paragraph about titties is a bit murky--although I'm never going to object to a mention of titties, but the sentiment of the thread is on-target in my view. Hollywood seems to be slow recently making films that reflect recent social turmoil, that reflect our unusual political situation at the moment, etc. They don't have to be directly about those things, of course (although they can be). Many films have been allegories of social turmoil in the past, while overtly being something fantastical or whatever. Well you could say Get Out and Detroit reflected something about todays society. Can't see how there not being films about the subject matters the OP mentioned would be "behind the public on the culture". USA kicking as with an Allied Russia. How does that reflect now? It was rarely reflected in the past when they actually joined forces in WWII? Where is the citizen vs scummy journalist movie? There have always been scummy journalists. Why would it be any different now except that a President has decided that they are Where is the horror movie about an ex muslim being hunted by honor killers? Is this something the public at large are yearning for and talking about. Where is the movie about scummy regulators? Have no idea what that is or whether it would make an interesting film. Maybe I just don't count as a member of the public. Or maybe I just don't share a certain political/social viewpoint of a certain group which the OP belongs to.
