It's kinda sad that people would make that connection. Sometimes it feels like the non-racists are the one who keep racism alive by constantly being conscious of it.

I'm pretty sure he was joking (well at least I laughed anyway), but there has undoubtedly been a history on terraces of monkey chants being aimed at black players, though I'm sure replacing the word Cantona with Lukaku would be absolutely fine (if not some kind of sacrilege).
