Yup. What taylorfirst1 said. The question is, why don't the studios understand this? I know I'm going to get a select few on my head for saying this, but... WB/DC do understand this. The thing is that they are in competition with Marvel and are reactionary (Suicide Squad is their Guardians of the Galaxy). No matter how many times they say to the contrary, they are. The Marvel movies for the most part are light and fun and adventurous except for when they darken the tone for some deeper character moments. DC wants to go against that. Instead of making the movies to go with the characters, they are making the movies to not be "them." |
