Hollywood Screenwriters

For those interested, I've heard this is an interesting book written about screenwriter Robert Riskin, though I've not read it myself : 'In Capra's Shadow : The Life And Career Of Screenwriter Robert Riskin' by Ian Scott.

Robert Riskin is one of my favorites (Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, Meet John Doe, It Happened One Night, American Madness, Lost Horizon - the perfect Frank Capra partner/co-creator). O.T., but interesting: His only wife was Fay Wray from 1942 until his death in 1955. Somehow that seems appropriate for his creative world view.
