I came up with the “grower’s/strangler’s orientation” terms, inspired by working in the garden, when working on this thread. I have a few more thoughts about the idea, which I will try to post soon (though many of my posts take much longer than I think they will.)
On the negatives, I generally don’t like to block people, so I see that Erjen has asked me to comment on another quote (both part of some anonymous board arguments,) but I’ve no interest in responding to quote mining of long, heated discussions. Nor am I interested in responding to scienceisgod’s baiting or Arlon’s game-playing. If they want to pretend this is hypocritical of me, let them.
