If your referring to the ones from the old days it's pretty safe to say DooM easily wins as it's pretty much like this...
Wolfenstein 3-D = it seems it's credited as the 1st first-person shooter.
but...
DooM = basically the 1st QUALITY first-person-shooter.
like when people think back to the first-person-shooter early days, DooM seems to get all of the credit and i can't blame them.
p.s. i believe i first played DooM back in 1995 which is when we got our first PC.
