It's a hypothetical. If God's existence were proved--but you didn't know which god, only that it was some kind of deity--then which religion would you decide to be? I don't know exactly what the question is supposed to establish, but it's just a hypothetical scenario. ("If you went to the movies today, which movie would you see?")
