Since I have this movie on DVD I rewatched it.
What I said before about Okofinokee wasn't correct, as some scenes with the actors where really done there.
Dana Andrews, Anne Baxter, Walter Brennan, Walter Huston, John Carradine, all did good jobs creating a bit of mystery.
Having seen it again, snsurone though telling the end with Walter Brennan and the dog, didn't tell the whole scenario, the reason why, and why it ended like that, so it didn't matter to me. He could have been alone in the swamps, for example.
