Plus: Had an uncle who was an extra. IMDb refused to accept any information on him and the rest of his family is either dead or not interested. Took months to get them to post a picture and leave it there. Hi, not trying to defend IMDb here, or disparage your uncle's career as an extra, but if he only did non-speaking, non-credited background roles then IMDb won't give him a listing. It's actually understandable as you can imagine the sheer number of people who have been background extras who would then want a listing of their own. If a background extra ends up getting a speaking role, or credited role, then they can get a bio page added and include their background roles in their IMDb resume. I was a background player for a couple of years in the late 1990s, no speaking roles or credited parts, and though I would love to have a bio page on IMDb (who wouldn't!) I completely understand why they don't allow this.
