Hi, not trying to defend IMDb here, or disparage your uncle's career as an extra, but if he only did non-speaking, non-credited background roles then IMDb won't give him a listing.

It's actually understandable as you can imagine the sheer number of people who have been background extras who would then want a listing of their own.

If a background extra ends up getting a speaking role, or credited role, then they can get a bio page added and include their background roles in their IMDb resume.

I was a background player for a couple of years in the late 1990s, no speaking roles or credited parts, and though I would love to have a bio page on IMDb (who wouldn't!) I completely understand why they don't allow this.
