Thor is actually pretty deep man. How often do you get a main antagonist who isn't some evil villain but is desperate for a place he feels at home and is genuinely trying to win over his father's approval. If you thought that was lame, I have to say, you have kinda been missing the point. That is an absolutely beautiful film.
