I think this is the first they set a date and boldly stated that it would be a "direct" sequel to Terminator 2.
I was wondering if they would try to fold in ALL the Terminator movies, including the non Cameron ones since Schwarzenegger was in them (including the CGI Arnie cameo in Salvation). I could see a way that they could, with time travel and alternate realities playing a part.
