Very wimple solution: the NFL only needs to enforce the rules already on the books, i.e., that all team personnel must be on the field and standing at attention during the playing of the National Anthem....under threat of fines and/or suspensions. If the NFL tried to do that, I think it would backfire on them, bigly. You'd have a lot more players protesting, including good ones, daring the NFL to suspend them and make their product shittier. |
