"Alexander Nevsky" has a lot to offer, too. I'll pair it with "Come and See" in a "war films dealing with civilians" category. The same category as NORTHERN STAR and the one with Michael J Fox that I can't think the name of at this second. They're usually worthy films.
The only war movie with Michael J. Fox i know about is Casualties of War (1989). Which i saw years ago and remember it as being a good movie.
