What don't you like about Dalton? He's much closer to the Fleming Bond than all of them with the exception of Craig.

He lacks any personality whatsoever and looks bored through the entire Licence to Kill (which is a crap movie imo even if I ignore Dalton). The story is fine but the directing and acting ranges from mediocre to awful. Taliso Soto gives one of the worst performances I have ever seen.

This sentence only applies to people that have read the novels.

James Bond is set up a certain way personality wise in the movies (and I prefer his film persona) that is separate from the novels I take it but I do like Daniel Craig as James Bond quite a bit. So it isn't as much that I am not open to a dfferent more realistic style, it's that I just think Dalton is crap.
