I'm not kidding.

Apparently, it was determined to hit that one city even if the asteroid had to go into orbit around the Earth for some hours to reach it.

Everyone prepared for the one city to be hit without knowing when the asteroid would arrive.

Everything else is smarter than this, so I don't mind weird disaster movies so much.

A film about no one knowing when the asteroid will hit? What film is that?

It was a "Made for TV" movie in the U.S. where scientists supposedly knew WHERE the asteroid would hit but NOT WHEN.

I forget the name of it, but we watched it while chuckling.
